Horse racing: Doncaster set for weekend double-header
Doncaster Racecourse is taking part in a new campaign to Get Britain Racing - and the action starts at Town Moor this weekend.
The campaign will run across 17 racecourses throughout England and Wales and invites people to go racing for just £10 between June and August.
Racing on Friday evening at Doncsater starts at 6.40pm and begins with The Yorkshire Radio Supporting Yorkshire Racing Maiden Stakes, a contest for two-year-olds.
The highlights of Saturday’s programme, which starts at 2.05pm, include a trio of £20,000 contests supported by freebets.co.uk.
Party band Contraband will play a mixture of classic rock and pin-up pop at the conclusion of Saturday’s racing.
The £10 ticket offer is only available when booked online in advance.
