It’s business time!

The Keepmoat Stadium hosts the 2015 Crown Hotel Bawtry Doncaster Business Cup this Saturday (3pm) - with five local charities set to be the big winners.

Two teams of local businessmen, captained by Alexander Van Steen and David Plant, have been training for almost three months in preparation for the game after stumping up £250 each for the privilege of playing at the home of Doncaster Rovers.

All the money raised will be donated to Bluebell Wood, Aurora, Firefly, Club Doncaster Foundation and North Ridge Community School.

Rotherham-born referee Howard Webb, who officiated the World Cup and Champions League finals in 2010, will be in charge of the game.

Star and Free Press sports writer Paul Goodwin is in the Team Van Steen squad as they bid to get one over Team Plant.

The event is now in its fifth year and organisers are hoping to raise £15,000 for the chosen charities.

Tickets are available on the turnstile priced £5 adults, £3 children.
