Station look for cup of tonic

SWINTON Station Athletic will be looking to progress in the Sheffield and Hallamshire FA Junior Challenge Cup when they entertain Holmbridge this Saturday in a 1pm kick off.

Athletic do not look set to go one better than their runners-up finish in the league last season so will be looking to the county cup as their opportunty for notable silverware.

Current runaway Premier Division leaders AFC Sportsman Rovers have home advantage for their opening round Doncaster and District FA Challenge Cup clash as they host Division One side Hemsworth Town.

South Kirkby side Travellers FC host Premier Division Rossington Main in a 1.30pm start.

In the Premier Division, South Kirkby Col A cross swords with neighbours Kinsley Boys and South Elmsall United Services are at Retford Town, both kick-off 2pm.

Division One fixtures include Hemsworth MW travelling to Edlington Rangers, South Kirkby Colliery B hosting Adwick Park Rangers Reserves, and Upton Brookside at home to ISG Doncaster, kick-off 2pm.
