TWENTY was plenty for free scoring Mexborough Rangers to boost their Under 15 Division One title hopes as they ran riot at Town Moor Tigers B.
Rangers beat their hosts 20-0 with Will Turner providing six of the best.
Jamie Smith was on five star scoring form while Jamie Miller and Sam Jones both added hat tricks.
James Payne netted a brace while Ashley Emmerson rounded things off.
Elsewhere, Rangers suffered a 3-0 defeat to visiting Tickhill Juniors in the Under 13 Premier Division
THE Mexborough Rovers club was on free scoring form this week to pile the misery on their opponents.
In the Under 11 Premier Division, Rovers piled the agony on struggling Armthorpe Rovers by running out easy 7-0 winners.
Thomas Saddington scored twice while Jackson O’Sullivan, Harrison Cooper, Matthew Greaves, Lewis Terry and Benjamin Grey also found the net.
Rovers triumphed 5-2 in the top of the Under 14 Division One clash with local rivals Conyers.
Dominic Purcell scored twice with Matthew Ager, Luke Skelton and an own goal rounding things off for Rovers who turned up the heat on leaders Conyers with the win.
Conyers scored through Piaras Hale and Jack Wood.
Rovers maintained the pace in the Under 12 Division Two with a 7-0 win over Warmsworth Lions.
Liam Cooke and Chad Webb both hit braces with Brandon Harris, Lewis Steer and Curtis Horbury also on target.
It was the flying feet of winger Horbury that proved the Lions’ undoing as he ran the defence ragged in a blistering performance.
The game exploded into action and with just a few minutes on the clock, Horbury provided Cooke to hit the opener.
Horbury then gifted Chad Webb the chance to open up his Rovers account before Cooke added his second.
Harris pressured the Warmsworth keeper, causing him to spill and leave the Rovers man with a simple tap in to extend the lead further with just 15 minutes gone.
The first half came to a close when Horbury picked up his third assist and some unorthodox nifty footwork from Steers saw the ball in the net once again.
Rovers were in cruise mode and this led to Webb adding to his earlier strike.
Horbury finally got his personal reward as he slotted in from the most acute of angles to round off his man of the match performance.
Unfortunately Rovers U13s failed to make it a clean sweep as they suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Division Two South Elmsall United in the League Cup quarter final.
Jack Thomas got the only goal of the game to dump Rovers out.
MEXBOROUGH Main Street’s active sides picked up a couple of important wins last weekend.
Main’s U13s U13 won 2-1 at Sprotbrough & Cusworth Crusaders.
Kornel Wojciechowski and Conner Webb got the all important goals, Nick Logue halving the deficit for the Crusaders.
And the U16s maintained the pressure on Division One leaders West End Bentley with a 5-1 win over Westwoodside Rangers.
Thomas Bracken and Ben Roe’s braces plus a Jake Ford strike drove Main Street to the win while Michael Gillespie hit back for Rangers.
CONYERS U13s were big winners away from home as they ran out 6-3 victors at Rockingham Rovers.
Aidan Oakley scored twice with Joe Farmer, Michael Pearce, Rowan White and Brett Hobson also doing damage, while Daniel Loft, Brad Smith and an own goal halved the deficit.
But Conyers U12s saw their League Cup hopes come to an end in the quarter final stage after a 6-2 defeat to Edlington White Stars.
Tyler Moreland and Tyler Rodgers replied for Conyers.
LIAM Middleton bagged a hat trick as Barnburgh and Harlington cruised to a 6-0 success over Markham FC in Under 13 Division One.
Ryan Neeham, Alex MacFarlane and Joe Green completed the scoring.
Aiden Davies and Ethan Webster scored for Barnburgh but they were beaten 3-2 by Rossington Juniors in Under 15 Premier Division.
Groves CSC received more pressure after a 5-2 defeat to fellow Under 15 Premier Division strugglers Doncaster Hall Cross.
Levi Blacke and Conner Connelly hit back in the defeat.
Thomas Humphires scored the only goal of the game as Groves CSC U16 saw off Edenthorpe Juniors.
South Kirkby Juniors U15 earned a 3-2 win over Town Moor Tigers A.
Kane Thornton, Bradley Field and James Rawling netted for Kirkby with Louis Palmer hitting back with a brace.
South Kirkby Juniors U16 B rocketed into the next round of the League Cup with a 7-0 win at Branton Juniors.
Jack Barrick hit a hat trick with Luke Malone, Josh Taylor, Jake Wileman and Chris Mills also on target.
WATH Stars U8s produced their best performance of the season as they battled for 40 minutes against tough opponents.
George Scattergood found the net in the second quarter for the Stars while keeper Harry Beardsley produced some fantastic saves to earn himself the man of the match prize.
The Stars U9s were outstanding as they remained on course for a title triumph with a 4-0 win over a very strong Wombwell Town outfit.
Darnell Joseph scored twice with Logan Pettingham also on target and Ben Williams netting for the second week running.
The Stars U12s saw their match at Drakehouse abandoned due to the unfortunate injury of two of the home side’s players.
The on form Todd Rowley and Alex Pooley had given Wath a 2-1 lead.
