LAST season debutant manager Chris Sutton used his contacts well to bring in loan players that ultimately helped guide the Imps away from relegation danger.
But there has been little progress and Lincoln are facing the same fight this time around.
Sutton departed in October, citing family reasons and was replaced by Steve Tilson who has flourished in similar circumstances previously.
Though they have hardly set League Two alight, Lincoln seem unlikely to be embroiled in a relegation fight for much longer with the ‘magic 50’ points just four points away.
ASHLEY Grimes’ loan move from Millwall looks to be one of the best bits of business done in League Two this season.
Since arriving in October, the 24-year-old forward has netted 17 goals including four in the last four games.
Grimes joined Millwall in 2008 after leaving Manchester City where he was a trainee following spells with Manchester United and Bolton Wanderers.
