ROTHERHAM United boss Ronnie Moore has strengthened his troubled defence with the loan signing of Swindon Town full back Callum Kennedy.
The left-sided player who can operate in defence and midfield has arrived to ease worries over an injury plagued and out of form section of the Millers’ ranks.
He told the Millers’ official website: “I was playing in a reserve game on Wednesday and afterwards I was asked if I wanted to get some first team experience at Rotherham, so I said yes straightaway.
“I know I have come to a good club that are doing very well in the league so I am excited about being here and looking forward to playing some games.
“From what I understand Rotherham are a team that like to get the ball down and play so I am really looking forward to getting started.”
Kennedy, 21, is eligible for tomorrow’s trip to Oxford United along with fellow loanee Omar Daley, who joined from Bradford City yesterday.
Daley’s move to Don Valley coincided with Kevin Ellison heading in the opposite direction.
