Shafton Villa, one of the pacemakers for the Premier Division title in the Doncaster Senior League, have resigned from the league.

There were mixed fortunes for Kinsley Boys, with Liam Radford scoring in a 1-0 win over Bramley Sunnyside.

But strikes by Jo Sutherland and Lee Holdsworth could not save Boys from a 6-2 home defeat by Bawtry Town.

David Blake bagged a brace of goals for South Elmsall United Servies in a 2-1 derby success at South Kirkby Col.

Kirkby went down 8-2 when they entertained Rossington Main.

Denaby Main maintained top spot in Division One after a 9-0 victory at Westwoodside Rangers.

Ainsley Finney, Tom O’Neill and Joe Dungworth all struck twice, with Joshua Terry, Scott Aspinall and Martin O’Neill rounding off the spree.

There were two easy wins for rivals Hemsworth MW.

First, they beat Swinton Athletic 5-0, with Graham Phillips (2), Tom Hemmingway, Tom Myers and Steve Brown the marksmen.

Then, Lee Wagstaffe (2), Steve Brown, William Kemp and Tom Myers found the net in a 5-0 rout of Bawtry Town Res.

Ricky Gaskell and Shaun Hobson were on target for South Kirkby Town in a 2-1 success against Rovers Foundation.

South Kirkby Colliery, meanwhile, went down 5-0 at Swallownest MW in the Sheffield County Senior Premier Division.

David Sills scored a hat trick for MW, and Andy Jones and Jason Short added a goal each.

Colliery entertain High Green Villa this Saturday.
