Youngsters are being invited to a series of football camps over the school summer holidays to hone their skills.

Doncaster Rovers Foundation will once again host the popular summer camps at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The camps are open to boys and girls aged 3-7 and 8-14. They start on Monday and run until August 19.

Liam Scully, chief executive of Doncaster Rovers Foundation, said: “Our summer soccer camps are always extremely popular and well attended.

“They provide a great opportunity for kids to stay fit and have fun in a safe environment in the summer holidays.

“We are looking forward to welcoming this year’s children and I am sure they will have a great time.”

Included in the football camps will be a tour of the Keepmoat Stadium, a special appearance from Rovers mascot Donny Dog and football tournaments.

Youngsters will also be given the chance to have their photograph taken with the prestigious League One trophy won in dramatic fashion last season.

The three to seven-year-old camps, which are priced at £5 per day or £20 for the full week, start at 9am and finish at 12 each day.

The eight to 14-year-old camps cost £10 per day or £45 if a full week is booked.

There is no need to pre-book, however due to limited numbers, booking is advisable to secure your child’s place.

To book call the Rovers ticket office on 01302 762576.
