Rotherham United were rewarded for a performance full of heart and spirit with a 1-0 win over Wolves.
Ryan Hall struck in the 76th minute to earn the Millers their first Championship points in New York Stadium’s first ever Championship match.
Wolves were dangerous, but Rotherham, with Paul Green leading the way, worked and worked throughout the match.
New boy Paul Taylor hit the post in the first half while Wolves’ Bacary Sako was twice denied by keeper Adam Collin.
Kieran Agard came on as a second-half sub to rapturous applause.
