Karl Rose has swooped for a quartet of signings - including returning striker Danny South.
The Athletic chief has wasted no time in adding to his ranks with the captures of South, who netted nine in 26 appearances for Frickley before moving to Stocksbridge Park Steel last season, defender Conor Qualter, winger Cameron Harris and midfielder Matthew Young.
Qualter joins from Central Connecticut State in the USA with the 20-year-old having previous spells including with Tadcaster Albion, Ossett Town, Leeds United and Halifax Town.
Harris is a 20-year-old winger who played for Chorley last season after joining from Welsh side Pontardawe Town.
And Young, 28, has made the switch from Farsley following a career which spans Harrogate Town, Guiseley, Worksop Town and Huddersfield Town where he made over 30 Football League appearance.
Meanwhile, Athletic boss Rose has been boosted by the commitment shown from Luke Hinsley, Luke Jeffs and Joe Wilcox who have all re-signed for the Evo-Stik League side.
Pre-season training started at the end of last month and in preparation for the new campaign, Frickley are appealing for volunteers to help with work at their Westfield Lane ground.
Jobs vary from cleaning and mopping to painting and weeding.
Working days take place this Saturday and Sunday, as well as July 12 and 13. All are held between 9am and 1pm.
