Football frenzy at the library

TAKE part in a fun filled football frenzy at Crowle Library on Saturday November 26 from 1pm to 4pm.

There will be a wide range of football games available, including: FIFA tournament on the Xbox, Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) on the Playstation 3, Mario Strikers on the Wii and table football.

A spokesman said: “It is a great opportunity for people to improve their gaming skills and play as their favourite UK or international team against people that share the same passion for football.

“Come along and play on FIFA and PES to decide which football game is ultimately the most realistic.

“This is a football gaming event that shouldn’t be missed. Tickets cost £2.50 and booking is advisable.”

North Lincolnshire Council’s cabinet member for Corporate and Community Services, Councillor Carl Sherwood, said: “This is following on from the success of previous football gaming events at Brigg and Barton libraries. I would encourage people that are passionate about the game to attend.

“It is a brilliant event that will give football fans the chance to compete against each other on a choice of games consoles or play table football.”
