Belles u15s started their new season in a new kit and claimed maximum points with a 9-0 victory over Wombwell u15s.
In a scrappy opening, newly-promoted Wombwell more than held their own, but midway through the half Donny found their passing game and went into the interval with a four goal lead - goals coming from Libby Watson (2), Naomi Oldridge and an own goal.
The second period was nearly all played in the Wombwell half as the visitors tired but their goalkeeper put in an excellent display.
However, she was powerless to stop further goals from Kirsty Nelthorpe, Toyah Perry and new signings Mollie Cliffe and Kelsey Douglas (2).
‘Lass of the grass’ went to Kayleigh Green.
The u15s are next in action in a South Yorkshire derby away to Barnsley on Saturday.
