Doncaster Rovers: Trio set to learn fate

BRIAN Flynn will today run the rule on three potential loan signings after watching Rovers slip to a fourth game without victory.
Flynn agreed in principal deals for three players last week and is set to decide whether to give the green light for the moves to take place on Wednesday, including one for a Premier League player.
The Rovers boss also confirmed he has yet to give up on agreeing a deal for Sheffield Wednesday striker Gary Madine, despite Owls boss Dave Jones saying he is going nowhere.
“I’ve lined three players up, it’s just a case of putting in a phonecall,” Flynn said.
“I need to see if the other managers have changed their minds after agreeing last week. I’ll speak to them on Wednesday and accelerate the deals. We’re looking at all departments – my list is endless.
“Gary Madine was a very realistic target. According to the word from certain quarters, it’s very positive. He’s still a target because I don’t give up on things that easily.”
Rovers came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw at Crawley Town last night, a result which returned them to second in the table. James Husband cancelled out Josh Simpson’s 25th-minute opener.
