WINGER David Cotterill is Doncaster Rovers’ second signing of the summer - with another new face set to arrive later this afternoon.

Cotterill, 24, has signed a two-year deal at the Keepmoat Stadium where he will team up with his former Welsh mentor Dean Saunders.

Saunders coached the former Sheffield United wideman on the international stage when he worked alongside Wales boss John Toshack.

And he hopes to get the best out of a player whose career has taken something of a nosedive in recent seasons.

Cotterill ended last season at Barnsley after his contract at Swansea City was terminated in January.

He joined Wigan Athletic for £2million in 2006 after bursting onto the scene at Bristol City.
