Brian Flynn takes charge of Doncaster Rovers
FLYNN'S IN: Brian Flynn will take temporary charge of Doncaster Rovers while the search for Dean Saunders' replacement will take place.
FORMER Wales boss Brian Flynn will take temporary charge of Doncaster Rovers following Dean Saunders’ shock exit to Wolves.
Flynn has been working as a scout for the club since August after being brought in by Saunders who he knew from the Wales coaching set up.
The 57-year-old will be assisted by Rovers skipper Rob Jones who was recommended to chairman John Ryan for a caretaker role by Saunders.
Flynn previously managed Wrexham, Swansea City and Wales Under 21s.
He and Jones will take their first training session on Tuesday when Rovers begin their preparations for Saturday’s trip to Stevenage.

Ryan hopes to appoint a new permanent manager before the visit of Leyton Orient to the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday, January 19.
Meanwhile, Saunders will be officially unveiled as the new Wolves manager at 2pm on Monday.
