Goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann has left Doncaster Rovers by mutual consent.
The popular German keeper was transfer-listed by Rovers boss Darren Ferguson at the end of last season.
Stuckmann has come close to finding another club on several occasions so far this summer only to see deals fall through at the 11th hour.
He has trained with Rovers during pre-season with staff particularly keen to help him find a new employer.
The 35-year-old made 43 appearances for Rovers after joining last summer, when he turned down the offer of a new deal by Preston North End.
Dany N'Guessan and Billy Whitehouse remain on the transfer list at Rovers.
