Chris Brown has become the first of Rovers’ out of contract players to sign a new deal.

The Doncaster-bron striker has put pen to paper on a new two year deal.

“I’m delighted to have signed a new deal and I just can’t wait for the season to start,” Brown said.

“This is a great club, there’s a great set of lads here and I’m looking forward to working with the manager and players that are here.

“It’s going to be a really tough season with the amount of top teams that are in the Championship. As a player those are the games you look forward to.”

The 28-year-old is enjoying a productive pre-season so far having scored five goals in the opening two friendlies.
