Strikers Liam Mandeville and Jack McKay added to their blossoming reputations by firing Doncaster Rovers through to the third round of the FA Youth Cup.
Mandeville scored twice as Rovers ran out 4-2 winners against Peterborough United at the Keepmooat Stadium on Wednesday night.
McKay, who made his senior debut as a late substitute against Sheffield United last weekend, capped a memorable week on a personal level by sealing the win in stoppage time.
Winger Aron Gordon was also on the scoresheet for Doncaster, who will now host Norwich City in an attractive third round tie.
Paul Stancliffe’s under 18s previously saw off Morecambe in the first round, running out 3-1 winners.
