MILLERS boss Ronnie Moore has slammed midfielder Mark Randall after the Arsenal loanee failed to show for the Tuesday night trip to Stockport County.
Moore said: “We booked him into hotel and he went home without anyone knowing.
“And then his car goes and breaks down on the M6 and the RAC took him back home and not to the ground.
“It’s just lack of professionalism for me.
“It’s showing disrespect for Rotherham United.
“He wouldn’t have done it if he’d been playing at Arsenal.
Moore was particularly angered as he had only named a basic 18–man squad to make the trip to Edgeley Park, meaning he had only six players on the bench.
He said: “I thought with it being at Stockport, I didn’t want players sat in the stand freezing so I just brought the basic 18.
“And then I find out at half past six that Randall’s car has broke down.
“This will be dealt with internally.
“It’ll certainly be a fine, no doubt about it.”
The Millers scored twice in the last six minutes to salvage a 3-3 draw from a disappointing performance.
Moore said: “It was the type of game, if ever there was one, which was crying out for the skill and precision Randall can bring.
