Doncaster Rovers face AFC Bournemouth on Saturday - and Paul Dickov is “excited” by his side’s potential to get even better.

Rovers raced into a 3-0 lead against Charlton last weekend, before the game was abandoned, and hosted Leeds United in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday evening before facing Bournemouth on Saturday, and Dickov said: “The thing that excites me about this group is that the more they play together, the better they’ll get.

“We’re only three and a half games into the league season and you can already see how well they are gelling as a unit.

“That’s a credit to them.”

Paul Keegan is available again after missing the Leeds tie through suspension, following his red card at the Valley, and team-mate James Coppinger says that Rovers are currently playing without any fear.

““We’ve got a massive belief among all of the players at the moment,” said Coppinger.
