Cask beat rivals to stay at top

CASK Corner continue to set the pace at the top of the Doncaster Sunday Alliance League Division Four table after beating second-placed Balby CSV to claim their ninth win in as many starts.

Lee Parker bagged a brace for the visitors with Paul Preskey, Steve Johnson and Daniel Armistead also netting.

Matthew Bradley and Gavin Olly shared out Balby goals. Windmill Inn climbed into second place with a 5-0 win over Bentley West End S & S.

Dale Glynn and Liam Redmile both bagged a brace with Carl Mackinson also chipping in.

Arskey Victoria lost ground on the leaders after going down 4-3 at Leopard, for whom James Cammack scored all four goals. Jamie Cole, Stan Kroco and Jamie Barnes were the Arskey marksmen.

Rycroft Rovers (Jake Holdsworth, Tom Costello, Dean Humble, Jaydon Dennison) won 4-1 at Warren House Warriors.

Balby Plough beat Bay Horse Misfits by the odd goal in three.
