Breaking: Doncaster Rovers sign Barnsley winger on loan

The 21-year-old trained with Rovers on Wednesday and is eligible to make his debut in Saturday’s FA Cup tie with Blackburn Rovers.
Born and raised in Portugal, Simões spent his teenage years in Greater Manchester after his family emigrated.

Hide AdHe won his first cap for the Angola national team last October and provided an assist on debut.
Simões came through the ranks at FC United of Manchester before joining Barnsley in January 2019.
A technically gifted and direct winger, he has since then made 27 appearances for the Reds, scoring three goals.
His best run came under previous Barnsley boss Gerhard Struber but he has found opportunities under current head coach Valerien Ismael harder to come by.
