Dons’ season ticket offer to take place on Sunday

DONCASTER RLFC has announced that ticket prices will increase following the club’s promotion to the Co-operative Championship.

But supporters will be able to take advantage of a one-off season ticket sale at this Sunday’s game against North Wales Crusaders.

Next season the Dons will be reunited with Yorkshire rivals Sheffield, Featherstone, Halifax, Dewsbury, Keighley, Swinton, Batley, York and Hunslet in the second tier.

A statement on the clubs’s website said: “The Dons will be increasing their match day prices next season, which will put them in line with other Championship clubs.

“Match day prices will therefore be £15 for adults, £12 for concessions and £3 for children (5-16).

“Please note they will be no early bird offer on match day tickets in 2013.”

Season tickets priced £120 will be available to buy - for one day only - this Sunday.

The special offer represents a £75 saving for adults and a £36 saving for concessions, compared to paying on the gate for every game.

Supporters should download a season ticket registration form, available via the Dons’ website, before Sunday’s game.

Next season’s Championship has been expanded from ten teams to 14 as part of radical overhaul of rugby league in England and Wales.
