STAR man Paul Cooke is among ten players to sign new extended contracts at the Dons.

Club skipper Craig Robinson, Mick Butterfield, Mark Castle, Mike Emmett, Craig Fawcett, Carl Hughes, Kyle Kesik, Dean O’Loughlin and Nathan Powley will all remain at Doncaster for next season’s Co-operative Championship campaign.

Dons head coach Tony Miller said: “I’m delighted that these ten key players are staying with the Dons as we move up to the Championship next year.

“They have all played an instrumental part of our success so far this season and their new deals are just reward for their fantastic efforts.

“The club is well ahead of schedule with player recruitment for 2013 and we will be making further announcements soon regarding this issue.”

Chief executive Carl Hall added: “This is tremendous news for the Dons and these signings further highlight our ambitions as a club.

“We are very excited about the future of the Dons and we hope our fans and supporters embrace our vision and take advantage of our fantastic season ticket offer this weekend.

“We are busy planning the future of the club and it’s important the people of Doncaster get on board and give the players the support they deserve as they’ve been fantastic value for money this year.

“I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank-you to our fans and supporters for their continued support and I hope we can attract our biggest attendance of the season for our final home game this weekend.”

Dons host North Wales Crusaders on Sunday at the Keepmoat Stadium (3pm) in their final home game before the play-offs.

For the duration of the afternoon season tickets for 2013 will be on sale at special discounted rates.
