The Dons must beware a backlash from Barrow Raiders, Paul Cooke has warned.
Doncaster required a last gasp Dave Scott try and Stewart Sanderson conversion to earn a 30-28 win against the Cumbrians last month.
And Cooke reckons that outcome will still be fresh in Barrow minds when the two sides renew acquaintances on Sunday.
“I think that they will believe that they were hard done to at the Keepmoat, and that they probably owe us one,” said Cooke.
“We certainly know that we’ve got to play well to get a result at Barrow.
“We were lucky to beat them at home and had that game been last Sunday we probably would have lost it. They’ve probably learned to get over the line in tight games.
“They showed that on Sunday against Rochdale when they took a healthy lead only to be pegged back to 26-18 before going on to win the game 38-18.
“We know, that if we play well we’ll win games,” he added.
“It’s about us, not the opposition.
“We are not good enough to win games if we don’t turn up. But if we get it right then we’ll be in with a chance of winning any game.”
