THE dust has barely settled in the Dome after last weekend’s thrilling show but promoter Stefy Bull is already planning to top it.

The England versus Europe theme was a hit with the Doncaster public and the fights didn’t disappoint anybody there.

The main event between Tommy Coward and John Wayne Hibbert was a thriller. Now Bull is hoping to stage a bigger event at the Dome in September.

“It was ambitious (the last show), it cost a lot of money to put on, but it worked out and I was a proud promoter at the end of it,” said Bull.

“We’re already looking into the next show and we’ve got one fight sorted out between Stuart Brookes and Harry Matthews which will be for a Masters title.

“We want to have three title fights on and 13 fights in total. We’ve got the fighters to do it and you’ve got to offer the people of Doncaster value for money.”

One possible contender for a title is Rossington’s Maxi Hughes, who is trained by Jamie Kennedy in Rotherham and managed by Huddersfield’s Chris Aston.

Bull likes the look of the southpaw lightweight and is also considering putting Gavin McDonnell in a title fight.

“They’re both probably ready to step up to title level and I’m sure we can pull something off for them,” he said.

“We should have two lads making their debuts too. Luke Crowcroft is a top amateur and if we can get him committed he can go all the way.

“Mickey Davies will also be turning professional and he’s a big lad with potential.

“We’re going to sit down with Tommy Coward and see what he wants to do and which path to take. He’s chomping at the bit to avenge his defeat already.”
