TERMS AND CONDITIONS
HERE’S a chance for keen young reporters to see their work in print AND win a week’s multi-activity holiday for two, worth more than a massive £800.
The Times has teamed up with Camp Beaumont for a competition that is open to seven to 15-year-olds at schools across our Don and Dearne circulation area.
All you have to do is write and tell us, in up to 250 words, why YOU should be given the experience of an exciting Camp Beaumont holiday this summer at one of their venues across the country.
The camps are run by Kingswood – the company which will soon transform Conisbrough’s former Earth Centre in to an exciting new residential activity hub.
Each camp offers up to 80 activities that range from zip-wire, abseiling and quad-biking, to caving, kayaking and archery.
Not only will a lucky winner and a friend experience a fantastic holiday experience, he or she will also have the opportunity to become a Times correspondent, and report on the new Conisbrough Kingswood camp as it takes shape over the next year.
The holiday prize is a seven night Multi-Activity holiday for two children, including seven nights’ accommodation at one of the UK camps, all meals and all activities. Private transfers are not included. Parents can either drop children at the camp or they can drop them at one of the various pick up points. The prize winner can choose the UK camp they want to go to, subject to availability.
To view the camps, log onto the website at: www.camp beaumont.co.uk
Send entries, together with your full contact details, including telephone number, to Kingswood Competition, South Yorkshire Times, 27-29 High Street, Mexborough S64 9AF.
The competition is open to children aged seven to 15 and closes at 5pm, July 8, 2011. The prize must be taken during summer 2011. Only one entry will be accepted per person.
If players are under the age of 12, they will need permission of parents to enter.
Places at camps are limited so choice of camp is on a first come first served basis – plan ahead to avoid disappointment. Please note that insurance is included in this prize at £30 per child per week.
The prize includes seven nights’ accommodation, all meals and all activities for two children. Prize winners must be between the age of seven and 15 when they take the trip and private transfers to the camp are not included. Please see www.campbeaumont.co.uk/parents/transport-and-travel/index.asp for details of travel to our camps.
Prize is subject to availability and t erms and conditions of the 2011 Camp Beaumont brochure apply.

The competition is not open to employees of Camp Beaumont or the Kingswood Group or any of their direct family members.
