RESIDENTS Of West Stockwith showed they really have got talent at a fundraising event for the village’s celebrations to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in June.
Last week’s talent show, which took place on Friday, turned up some hidden talent.
Judges, district councillor Hazel Brand and county councillor Liz Yates, said they were hard pushed to choose the winners from the wealth of talent.
But, at either end of the age range, they awarded the junior prize to Olivia Murray for her version of the story, Jack and the Beanstalk.
In the senior category the prize went to Pearl and Jonathan Richardson for their interpretation of the ballet, Swan Lake.
The names of the Jubilee Queen, Princess, Prince, and attendants for the street party were announced.
