He’s just taken up the reins as co-chairman of his beloved Doncaster Rovers - but One Direction pop star Louis Tomlinson has signed up for another club already.
The Bessacarr boy band sensation and his band mate Niall Horan paid a visit to the home of Spanish giants Barcelona’s world famous Nou Camp stadium, pulling on the famed blue and maroon striped shirts and strolling on the pitch for a kickabout where the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Dani Alves normally strut their stuff.
They were in the city for a date at the Olympic Stadium as part of One Direction’s Where We Are World Tour.
Louis, who recently completed a takeover of Rovers with former chairman John Ryan, said: “It’s fantastic to watch Neymar. We all obviously love Messi, but it’s also fantastic to watch Neymar play. What a shame he’s injured. He’s a brilliant player”.
The pair were also welcomed into the presidential lounge by Dídac Lee, the director of the media and communication department at the club, who presented them with first team shirts with their names on the back.
The band members also signed a shirt with the name of the group, which will be used as a prize for a Barcelona fans draw.
