Actor Henry Winkler, who famously played The Fonz in long-running TV show Happy Days, visited WHSmith in the Frenchgate Centre to sign copies of his new book, Hank Zipper and the Parent-Teacher trouble.

Hundreds of people stood in line to meet the actor turned author, who spent the day visiting Doncaster schools.

He was a big hit at Town Fields Primary School where he entertained children and teachers.
