Doncaster’s countdown to Christmas is in full festive swing as people flock to the town centre to soak up the seasonal spirit.

Among the festive attractions over the next few days include various performances at Cast – including ’59 Minutes to Save Christmas,” a panto at Doncaster’s Little Theatre – and all the special Christmas Eve masses and carol concerts at the town’s many churches.

Councillor Bob Johnson, Doncaster Council’s Cabinet Member for Business, Tourism and Leisure, said: “There is so much this year for people to enjoy in the thriving town centre we have here in Doncaster, whether you want to take in a show, do your Christmas shopping, enjoy live music, enjoy a festive treat or soak up the atmosphere with a wander around the town centre.

He added: “I would encourage people to take a trip to the town centre over the next few days to see what the town offers.”
