A GROUP of slimmers are aiming to tip the scales at a 200 stones weight loss in aid of three charities.

Members of the Balby and Warmsworth Slimming World clubs are taking part in the “Let’s Beat Obesity” campaign – a 12 week drive to lose weight and raise awareness of obesity related health issues.

Members from the groups are being sponsored to lose weight, and are busy organising raffles, sponsored walks and competitions with all proceeds going to Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Bluebell Wood, and The Alzheimer’s Society.

Four weeks into the challenge and the four groups based in Balby and Warmsworth are already 85 stones lighter.

If you would like to sponsor the groups to lose 200 stones or donate a prize to the raffle contact Lindsey Grady on 07753822700.
