Trees trimmed at Ealand

OVERHANGING trees at Ealand Park are being trimmed back.

Crowle and Ealand Town Councillor Julie Reed informed fellow-members of the maintencance work at this month’s regular meeting, adding that the basketball court had also been completed.

However she explained the Crowle and Ealand Playing Field Association was in dispute with North Lincolnshire Council over who paid for a warning sign at the site.

Meanwhile Councillor Ron Stewart said committee members at Manor Park had applied for a £3,500 sustainability grant which could potentially fund events and interest in the site.

Councillor Reed also explained work on the Crowle Emergency Plan was now complete after receiving feedback from the public. Emergency contact numbers and potential facilities had been identified.

Both councillors addressed colleagues during the agenda item ‘reports back from outside bodies’.
