Pupils at a Doncaster primary school have set up a social media tribute page for their classmate, who died following a single vehicle collision.

The classmates of 11-year-old Ella Smith have set up a Facebook tribute page entitled ‘RIP ELLA BELLA SMITH’, following the youngster’s death yesterday.

The collision, which involved a Citroen C3, happened on Watch House Lane, Bentley, at the junction of Broughton Avenue at around 4.35pm yesterday afternoon.

Riahana Carrera is among those who have paid tribute to the Bentley Kirkby Avenue Primary School pupil on the Facebook page.

She said: “RIP babe I have known you for years we have always had that special friendship you were taken away from us far too soon you will never be forgotten and will always be on my heart sleep tight angle.”

Julie Nice-Jones also posted on the page.

“R.i.p Ella such a beautiful girl will be missed so much fly high with the Angels sweetheart xxx,” she said.

Plans to set up a Just Giving page and to organise a candle lit vigil in Ella’s memory is also being organised through the group.

To visit the group please visit Facebook here and search for RIP ELLA BELLA SMITH.
