Man sustains serious injuries in South Yorkshire collision

A 32-year-old man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a collision in the early hours of this morning. 
The collision occurred at around 1.25am, when a blue MG ZR was travelling along Moor Lane towards Great Houghton, Barnsley.

For reasons unknown, the car left the road and ended up on it’s side in woodland next to the carriageway.

The driver, a 32-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

South Yorkshire police have launched a witness appeal this morning.
