TRADERS from across the continent descended on Doncaster to visit a toy fair.

For Doncaster Racecourse hosted the biggest fair of its kind in Yorkshire.

The event at the Town Moor venue boasted terrific toys and must-have models from the 1920s to the present day. Toys on offer included tonnes of teddy bears, soldiers, rocking horses, models from toy giants Corgi and Hornby as well as a variety of rare items including a Lady Penelope pink car worth £1,000.

Traders flocked from all over Europe, including France and Germany catch a glimpse of the 360 stalls which showcased nearly a quarter of a million items altogether.
