IF you visited Tickhill over the weekend you may have thought you had taken a wrong turn and ended on the continent.

Because around 30 of the town’s shops decked themselves out in Italian flags and served up traditional delicacies such as cheese, pizzas, wine and pasta. With some holding art and music displays too.

The day was organised by Tickhill Business Association, whose main aims are to promote shopping locally to residents and highlight the hidden treats on offer in the town.
