A gang of knife-wielding robbers terrified a Doncaster resident during a raid on his home.

Police said four men broke into the garage of a home in Radburn Road, New Rossington, at 10.20pm on Wednesday, December 23.

A police spokeswoman said: “An occupant of the house was alerted to the break in when he heard a loud noise coming from the garage.

“Upon walking into the garage, the occupant was confronted by a man who appeared to be carrying a knife. The man, who had his face covered, then made threats towards the occupant of the house.

“The four men, who were all wearing black clothing, have then proceeded to steal a black Yamaha quad bike from the garage. The men are said to have left the area in a green Subaru Forester. No one was injured during the incident.”
