A group of students at Doncaster College have signed up to take part in scheme designed to stop bullying.

A total of 13 students signed up to the BeatBullying mentor scheme, and have received two days training - during which they learnt how mentor, guide, and support other young people on issues of bullying, cyberbullying and wellbeing.
After undergoing two days training the thirteen Doncaster College students, who come from courses throughout the college, received a certificate to mark their successful completion of the course and to acknowledge that they have been given the skills to mentor and offer advice and guidance. The training also deals with safeguarding and confidentially so mentors know how and when to pass on sensitive information and who to go to for support.
