SCHOOLKIDS from Hoyland showed their artistic side by creating a display made up from thank you cards from patients which will be placed in Barnsley Hospital.
Youngsters from Greenfield School presented the 4ft by 5ft montage to hospital bosses last week.
It will be displayed in the Outpatients’ entrance for the next six months.
Janet Carbutt-Lang, patient and public involvement officer at the hospital, said: “The hospital receives a large number of thank you cards from patients, some with the loveliest messages written in, and all too often only a few people get to see them.
“We thought it would be valuable for more people to see just a snippet of the kinds of cards we receive and Hoyland Greenfield pupils kindly offered to use their expertise in artistic displays to create it.”
