A WOMAN has told a stunned police meeting how she had to hide in her KITCHEN CUPBOARD... to escape drug-users battering on her windows and terrorising her home.
Her revelations came as a town unleashed its fury on police, over “druggies, prostitutes and feral youths” making residents’ lives a misery.
And locals warned cops in Conisbrough that they will take the law into their own hands to end the problem if the police don’t get a grip.
As locals threatened to “smash up” and “shoot” the nuisances, one warned the town’s Safer Neighbourhood cop, Sgt Daren Cawley: “There’s going to be a major incident... it’s been building up for years”.
Scores turned out to the meeting to complain about a rented house in the town, that they say is home to prostututes and drug dealers.
The owner of the house admitted at the meeting that he can only monitor it from his home, FIFTEEN miles away... on CCTV!
And out-of-control kids are a problem right across the town – making it a no-go area, they claimed.
