the hard work and commitment of young volunteers in Doncaster has been honoured in an awards ceremony.  

Over 30 young people between the ages of 14 and 19 had their commitment to volunteering honoured with gold, silver and bronze awards at the Doncaster Volunteer Awards ceremony which took place on January 30 at the Elmfield House Youth Centre. Mayor Peter Davies presented the volunteers with their awards. Mr Davies said: “I am really impressed and pleased to hear that so many of our young people in Doncaster are achieving recognition and awards for their participation and active involvement in the community, and ultimately helping to make Doncaster a better place for all. These young people are a credit to their communities.”
