Youngsters at Westwoodside CofE Primary School spent the day telling jokes while wearing their Red Nose Day noses.
Over at Crowle Primary Academy parents joined in the fun by attending a coffee morning which raised around £500.
Children at St Norbert’s Roman Catholic School in Crowle got into the spirit of things by wearing something red while playing various fun fair games.
The fun continued at Haxey Primary School as pupils turned up in their pyjamas for a dinosaur-themed party.
Teacher Natalie Collins, 27, said: “It was such a fun day and we have raised around £250.”
Sponsorship was still being counted this week, but each school hoped to raise several hundred pounds.
The fund-raising extravaganza, now in its 25th year, raised more than £75 million nationally for various projects at home and abroad.
