SLIDESHOW: Stepping out in 2013

Waiting for Video...

Epworth Sequence Dance Group is hoping to step up its recruitment drive in 2013 and wants more folk to join its ranks.

The group is looking forward to continued success after hosting a bring and share party to mark its last dance of 2012 at Epworth Pavilion.

Organiser Muriel Piercey is a sprightly 89, and has kept sequence dancing at the forefront of life in the Isle of Axholme for the past 24 years.

Keen dancer Eric Tomlinson said: “We are looking forward to welcoming new members in the coming year. Lack of experience is no problem to new members whatever their age as everyone is willing to give a willing hand – and foot – to those who would like to join in. Sequence dancing is a great way to keep fit and meet new people”.

The dances are held every Tuesday from 1.30pm-3.30pm.

Contact Mr Tomlinson on 01427 872683 for further details.
