A TOWN centre shop which provides drop-in advice and support to people about a wide range of health issues is gearing up to reach out to even more people.
The Talking Shop, run by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust at 63 Hall Gate, is training two new psychological wellbeing practitioners to help Deaf and Polish speaking communities in Doncaster.
RDaSH’s Joanne Goulding said: “Low mood, anxiety and stress can affect anyone at any time in their life.
“Our aim is to get everyone talking about their mental health, and to do that we’re making our talking therapies as accessible as possible.”
The trainee PWPs are Peter Shaw, who will provide a service for people using British Sign Language, and fluent Polish-speaker Kate Quick.
