A SCHOOL attended by hundreds of pupils from the Isle has been shortlisted for two awards at the prestigious National Independent Schools Awards,

Hill House School has been shortlisted in the ‘Outstanding Strategic Initiative’ category and the Board of Governors has also been shortlisted in the ‘Governing Body of the Year’ category.

Headmaster David Holland said: “it is a great credit to all governors, staff, parents and children that the tremendous success of our school has been recognised on a national level.” Winners will be announced later this month.
