Racing goes ahead at Doncaster despite snow
Doncaster Racecourse
DONCASTER Racecourse has confirmed that racing will go ahead today at Town Moor, despite the weather.
There were fears this morning that this afternoon’s card would fall victim to the snow but after a track inspection, racing will get underway with the first race at 1.25pm.
The racecourse’s official Twitter feed tweeted: “RACING GOES AHEAD today. Going: Soft, Heavy in Places.”
There are still doubts over tomorrow’s Lincoln meeting, the first meet of the flat racing reason, and racegoers are being urged to check with the Racecourse tomorrow.
