Bus drivers in South Yorkshire will fall silent as they remember a ‘wonderful’ colleague who died of coronavirus.

First South Yorkshire will be holding a one-minute silence today, Friday, April 24, at 11am in memory of Neil Bailey, who recently died of COVID-19.

“All of our drivers have been asked to safely pull over as a mark of respect for Neil,” said the operator, which asked customers to ‘bear with us’ if travelling at that time and to join staff in remembering Mr Bailey.
