Pair in hospital after Owston Ferry crash

TWO teenagers suffered serious injuries after a car hit a tree on Doncaster Road, Owston Ferry.

A 19-year-old man driving a silver Suzuki Swift was said to have lost control whilst on a bend.

The vehicle, which had a 15-year-old male passenger, left the road and went on to a grassy area before hitting a tree on the A19.

Firefighters cut the pair from the car and paramedics treated them at the scene before taking them to hospital.

The driver suffered head, neck and chest injuries and his teenage passenger suffered a fractured hip and hurt shoulder. The collision which happened at 1am last Friday, October 28.
