Other popular acts included a magic show, gymnastics demonstration and a comedy sketch. There were 19 acts in total, all pupils at Haxey Church of England Primary School, who performed in front of an audience of more than 100 parents, friends and relatives.

The event was organised by the school’s Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA).

PTFA member Jo Young, 45, a mum-of-three of Belton, said: “It was a great night for all the young people to showcase their talents. We were extremely impressed with how well they performed.”
